Summer is coming to an end, and what an eventful Summer it has been! Really looking forward to a busy and varied Autumn. September kicks off with the final Burgtheater rehearsals for Euripides' "Die Bakchen" (The Bacchae), and an exciting week recording and playing Michael Mantler's Orchestra Suites Project.
For those who missed it, there's another chance to listen to Soap&Skin in Vienna very soon, as well as a few more dates in other parts of the world spread out over the next months.
I'm also happy to be sharing the stage with some good old friends, such as the Viennese duo Bohatsch und Skrepek, and Leonhard Skorupa's Sketchbook Orchestra. For the full list of upcoming concerts see /dates.
However, the biggest project right now is my upcoming album, The Anatomy of Melancholy, which will be released on col legno music in January 2020. I'm really looking forward to the final product. Make sure to stop by and/or follow me on Facebook and Instagram for more updates (links above).
If you haven't already, check out the Fraufeld Vol. 2 album, a record that features some of the female artists currently working in Vienna and Austria at large. The album has been released on arooo records, and can be ordered directly from the Fraufeld website. You can also listen to it on Spotify.
